Dr. Stephanie Amanze – Biography
Dr. Stephanie Amanze is a dynamic, multifaceted professional whose journey spans medicine, neurodisabilities, biomedical engineering, public health, and business leadership. A proud Nigerian with global footprints, she has built a career rooted in excellence, compassion, innovation, and service.
She began her academic journey with a first degree in Human Anatomy from Nigeria, laying the foundation for her future in healthcare. She later advanced her studies in Medicine, as well as Biomedical Engineering and Public Health, across Ukraine and the United Kingdom. Her training also includes a strong focus on neurodisabilities, equipping her with the knowledge and clinical insight to support individuals living with complex neurological and developmental conditions.
This interdisciplinary blend of science and care enables Dr. Amanze to bridge the worlds of clinical medicine, healthcare innovation, and rehabilitation — with a particular passion for improving quality of life and access to care for vulnerable populations.
Outside of the medical field, Dr. Amanze has made significant strides in business and leadership. She previously worked with the United Bank for Africa (UBA), gaining hands-on experience in corporate systems and financial operations. Her exposure to the business world inspired her entrepreneurial ventures and sharpened her strategic outlook.
Recently, she completed the development of a modern residential apartment complex in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital — a testament to her commitment to national development and sustainable investment in infrastructure.
A firm believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Amanze is currently exploring opportunities to attain a professorship in a field that harmonizes her diverse academic and clinical background — with interests in Public Health Leadership, Health Innovation, Neurorehabilitation, or Biomedical Science.
