Kaduna, Nigeria – Former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, on [insert date], played host to a delegation from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) State Chairmen’s Forum at his residence in Kaduna.

The delegation was led by Femi Olaniyi, SDP Chairman for Lagos State, and included Abubakar Dogara, Plateau State Chairman and Acting Zonal Chairman for the North Central region, as well as Abba Modu, Chairman from Borno State.

In a statement shared on his official social media handle, El-Rufai described the meeting as “very fruitful,” revealing that the discussions centered on strategies to strengthen the SDP and sustain its growing momentum across the country.

“We had very fruitful discussions around strategies to build our party and sustain its popularity and momentum across Nigeria,” El-Rufai stated.

He expressed his gratitude to the visiting party leaders for their courtesies and commitment to building a stronger political platform for Nigerians.

The meeting comes at a time of increased political re-alignment and grassroots mobilization within Nigeria’s political landscape, with the SDP positioning itself as a formidable force ahead of future elections.
