Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara

The suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara has assured that the ongoing political crisis will ultimately strengthen the Rivers people rather than weaken them.

Governor Fubara made this known when he played host to Muslim leaders from twenty Islamic groups, including the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, who paid him an Eid-el-Fitr visit at his private residence in Port Harcourt.

Addressing the delegation, the governor urged the people, particularly his supporters, to trust God’s process, saying this season is for love, sharing, and sacrifice.

The suspended Rivers State Governor also reaffirmed his commitment to justice and equity, stressing that his administration envisions a society where no one is oppressed.

He also cautioned the people against falling prey to those who want to engineer violence,
warning his supporters and Rivers people to avoid elements seeking to destabilise the state
