Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State says his administration will, going forward, name projects in honor of his predecessors who dedicated their life to serve as Governor of the State.

Professor Soludo stated this during a brief ceremony where he named the road leading to the Chinua Achebe international Airport, Umueri after his immediate predecessor, Willie Obiano.

Professor Chukwuma Soludo is making another history as he inaugurates yet another highway constructed within the three years of his current administration.

The Governor receives loud ovation from a crowd gathered to witness the significant event.

Governor Soludo announced that the road leading from the Nteje junction of Onitsha-Enugu Expressway to Chinua Achebe International Airport in Umueri is named the “Willie Obiano Boulevard”

He explains the need to celebrate and honor past Governors of the State who according him contributed to its development.

Some Traditional rulers from Anambra North Senatorial district where the Airport is located speak of immense benefits of the road construction to rural community dwellers and overall development, praising Governor Soludo for remembering their people.

Governor Soludo also took members of the Anambra State House of Assembly on inspection of the almost completed Fun City and the new Government House projects.

Speaker Somtochukwu Udeze commended the Governor for his resilience in making judicious use of Anambra State resources.

Governor Soludo assures the people of his commitment to ensuring that every Kobo is invested on projects and programs that will better Anambra State and its citizens.
