An eighteen year old, 300 level Software Engineering student of Veritas University, Abuja, Izuafa Abdulrafiu has been selected as Microsoft Most Valuable Player and has been invited to attend a three day summit in the United States of America.
Abdulrafiu had won first place in the Africa First AI-Powered Inter-University Quizathon, where he competed against over 150 universities across Nigeria and 7,000 plus participants in the competition that covered various courses based on the NUC approved curriculum.
Abdulrafiu’s feat spurs Veritas University into accepting to host a conference of the National Association of Computer Engineering students, with the theme: Disrupt, Create, and repeat.
The theme of the conference ; Disrupt, Create, and repeat brought techpreneurs and other digital technology investors to a roundtable on how young tech lovers and creators can monetise their talents in various fields.
The conference afforded the students time to do exhibition of some of their technological and digital creations
Veritas university is one of Nigeria’s private universities, established by the Catholic Bishops conference of Nigeria
